NetPark Wellbeing

About

Free to use community wellbeing project offering 12 week x 2 hour art wellbeing sessions in an art room based in Chalkwell park- open to any one who has depression, anxiety, an experience of trauma, learning disability or dementia.

We offer a free support system for people living with mental health and wellbeing concerns, creating a safe space for our community to make friends and explore their creativity.

We aim to encourage people who may feel isolated, anxious, lonely or depressed to come and engage with digital and traditional art, walk in the park, create their own artworks, make friends and have some fun.

The project is FREE and open to both individuals and community groups.

Specialist Support:

Qualified and experienced Art Psychotherapist runs the project and we have Art therapy students who may be able to offer one to one art psychotherapy, as well as groups. We have capacity to offer a special group just for Ukrainian refugees if there is a translator available.

Support Criteria:
There is no criteria other than being over 16, residing in the Southend area and living with one of the following; depression, anxiety, an experience of trauma, dementia or a learning disability or difficulty.
